About French Terry fabric

French Terry (also called summer jogging) is a breathable, stretchy fabric that feels like a thinner, airy version of jogging fabric. It has a smooth front and a back with soft, absorbent loops, making it ideal for comfortable casual wear, sweaters, and baby clothes.

What makes French Terry unique?

The structure: It is usually made of cotton (sometimes combined with elastane for extra stretch). The front looks like regular jersey, but the knitted loops on the inside provide warmth and comfort.
Thickness: It sits precisely between regular jersey (t-shirt fabric) and thick fleece/sweatshirt fabric. Because the inside is not brushed, the fabric is less voluminous.
Properties: The fabric is moisture-absorbing, breathable, and has a pleasant natural stretch.
